CONTROLS BACTERIA AND ALGAE in Swimming Pool Water.
BROMINE TABLETS bromine tablets is a safe and effective slow dissolving bactericide, algaecide and disinfectant that, unlike other commonly used chemicals, performs well over a broad pH range. Use the dosages recommended below as a guide in determining the proper amount of BROMINE TABLETS necessary to keep your pool sparkling clean and inviting. The dosage necessary for your pool will change considerably depending on those factors that burden the disinfection system. Some of the factors that will vary the required dosages are water temperature, bather load, exosure to windblown debris, thunder or rain storms and length of filtration cycle.
1. Maintain recommended daily levels as determined by testing kit.
Free Available Bromine: 1.0 – 3.0 ppm
pH: 7.2 – 7.8
Total Alkalinity: 100-150 ppm
Calcium Hardness: 200-300 ppm
2. If using an automatic feeding device, fill the chamber(s) with tablets and adjust flow rate according to manufacturer’s recommendations to maintain proper bromine residual. Adding tablets to the pool's skimmer basket is an alternative bromine feed method. Daily usage should be approximately 25 g of BROMINE TABLETS bromine tablets per 10,000 L of pool water. NOTE: Hot weather, heavy pool usage, and rain may require higher usage rates to maintain proper bromine product being employed.
3.. Periodic superchlorination of pool water is recommended. Follow label instructions of superchlorination product being employed. Add 1 or 2 tablets per 10,000 L of pool water as needed to maintain a bromine residual of 1-3 ppm at all times. Daily usage should be approximately 25 g of BROMINE TABLETS bromine tablets per 10,000 L of pool water. Apply weekly dose through an automatic brominator which will allow you to adjust the amount of bromine entering the water. DO NOT contaminate irrigation or drinking water dupplies or aquatic habitats by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes.
